Do you want to know how to start with Face Yoga? For the longest time, we were convinced buying & using 100+ creams will keep wrinkles and sagging skin at bay and bring you glowing, radiant skin.

I agree, (clean & non-toxic) skincare products help nourish, hydrate & protect the upper skin layer and so combat fine lines but the fact is they won’t help you reduce deep wrinkles, sagging skin, and your facial form. 

To achieve that you have to work on your face and skin from the inside out.

 

With Face Exercises we are “training” the muscles. The point of the exercises is to activate, release, tension & tone + return the muscles to their optimal position and form – the same as on the body. Healthy facial muscles result in a healthy and glowing face.

 

Not doing face exercises and expecting your skin and face to stay in shape and youthful is like building a house with no foundation. 

 

But as with any practice you have to do it right. Face Yoga is not about doing strange faces here and there. It requires proper technique and activation. To get the best results possible, you have to look at the face as a whole and activate all facial muscles at the right time, in the right way. Why not just jump to your most concerning area? Because the facial muscles are so closely interconnected they affect each other – think of the domino effect.

When will I see the results on my face?

Temporary results with Face Yoga are immediate. Right after your first face workout, you’ll see the lift and plumpness – especially in your lips and upper eyelids. But not only – you will feel it! You will feel your face more open and lifted, more relaxed and fresh. You might even experience some pain, especially during the exercises for the jaw – which is completely normal as these muscles can be super tense. 

Permanent results will start showing up after 5 weeks of regular practice depending on the area of the face.

The first permanent changes start to appear in the lower face – toned neck, sculpted jawline, reduced double chin, plumped lips. This usually takes 2-3 months. 

If you want to lift & tone the cheeks + reduce nasolabial folds you need to practice regularly for approximately 6 months. Mimic lines on the forehead and the so-called “11 lines” are the most stubborn ones – especially if they’re super deep and are “sitting” on your face for years. To improve this area it takes approximately 8 months and also requires you to start being more conscious of your emotions & facial expressions – mimics.

But indeed results vary from person to person. If you’re healthy, if you have a good lifestyle, sleep & eat well and manage stress well the results will come to you sooner. The same goes if you’re younger as the regeneration process of your body is way faster. But don’t let your age stop you! We have amazing transformation with clients being 50+!
